The Forest Forever Foundation plants biologically diverse forests, which are to grow forever. They will only be grown on soils, which are to remain a forest area forever. These are usually wastelands which are far away from buildings and fields, but which are at the same time located in close proximity to other forests. The first trees will be planted in Autumn this year!

Forests are planted twice a year according to the rhythm dictated by nature. They are planted when vegetation processes in trees are slowed down, and at the same time there is no frost. The right times, are therefore, early Spring and late Autumn..

Small trees are planted as such trees can grow best. Larger seedlings would need to be watered throughout the summertime and each one of them would need to be staked separately (so that none of them moves in the wind). During the first years, the seedlings develop their root systems in the soil intensively. In this process, nature selects those that are best adapted to a given environment and will have the chance to develop and populate the remaining vacant area.
